CAE’s work with students with autism has revealed that they learn better through the arts. Through a partnership with PS37, a Staten Island school for children with severe cognitive disabilities, and Marquis Studios, CAE has established a comprehensive arts residency to explore how the arts affect student learning. Autism is the fastest growing serious development disability in the United States.
