CAE Supports Programs for Children with Autism:
The Arts Academy at PS 37

CAE’s work with students with autism has revealed that they learn better through the arts.  Through a partnership with PS37, a Staten Island school for children with severe cognitive disabilities, and Marquis Studios, CAE has established a comprehensive arts residency to explore how the arts affect student learning.  Autism is the fastest growing serious development disability in the United States.

 

GOALS

To allow students on the autism spectrum to achieve their full potential through an arts-infused curriculum
